Wow!  What a Tournament...  We started out strong winning 6 games straight to win our pool 6-0.  This put us in the Gold Bracket of the tournament with a first round bye.  The Bomberinos finished tied for 5th out of 22 teams in this Seattle Tournament. 

All of our girls did a great job contributing to our success. 

In picking a play of the day though, it would have to go to Krystal Maple.  In the second round of pool play,  a ball was hit cross court towards the outside line.  Krystal made a running dive through the air.  She flew through the air and pop the ball up and back into the court.  This allowed her teammates to recover the ball and win the point.  Way to go Krystal.

In addition to this great play, we had Kara Dixon serving 10 straight points, Brittney Belote serving 7 straight points, Marina Houff, Sydney Barrow, Kara Dixon, Brooke Batterton, Devann Burney, and Tressae’ Herrera accumulating over 30 kills.

I was proud watching the Bomberinos work together as a team and refusing to give up when it came to tournament play.
